Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, Matthew Strauskulage graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Art in history and political science. While in Pittsburgh, Mr. Strauskulage worked under Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, providing legal research and support to the administration.
Upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Strauskulage moved to Philadelphia where he attended the Drexel University School of Law. During law school, he worked extensively with the Philadelphia Family Court’s Domestic Violence Unit, assisting individuals in abusive living situations seek protection from abuse orders.
Prior to joining Freundlich & Littman, LLC, Mr. Strauskulage worked under the Honorable Marlene Fay Lachman in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. While working alongside Judge Lachman, he assisted in a wide array of civil litigation, gaining experience in contract dispute, medical malpractice, and personal injury practices. Mr. Strauskulage then went on to clerk for the Honorable Abbe Fletman in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Motions Program. Under Judge Fletman, he developed deep familiarity with motions practice and client advocacy.
Since joining Freundlich & Littman, LLC, Mr. Strauskulage has focused on personal injury, bad faith, contract dispute, and landlord/tenant representation. Mr. Strauskulage is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars.
