Mallory Shumaker

Biography

Mallory Shumaker is a Trial Attorney at Freundlich & Littman, where she represents employees in employment law litigation and advocates for individuals who have experienced workplace injustice. Her practice focuses on protecting employee rights and pursuing legal remedies for workers who have been wrongfully treated by their employers.

Mallory earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. While at King’s College, she became the first student to successfully complete the institution’s 3+3 dual-degree program with Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, allowing her to begin her legal education on an accelerated track. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

From an early age, Mallory knew she wanted a career centered on helping employees and promoting fairness in the workplace. Today, she is dedicated to advocating for workers facing unlawful employment practices, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other violations of employee rights. She is passionate about ensuring that individuals have access to justice and meaningful legal representation when confronting workplace misconduct.

During law school, Mallory gained valuable legal experience through academic and professional opportunities. As a research assistant to Professor Michael Moreland, she conducted research in constitutional law with a focus on individual rights and legal protections. This work strengthened her analytical and research skills, which she now applies to employment litigation and client advocacy.

Mallory considers it a privilege to be part of the Freundlich & Littman team, fighting for employees who may otherwise lack the resources or ability to challenge workplace wrongdoing.
