Samuel C. Wilson leads the firm's employment litigation practice, representing clients in workplace discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and retaliation matters across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He also handles whistleblower claims, Fair Labor Standards Act claims, and Conscientious Employee Protection Act claims.
Mr. Wilson brings seven years of employment law experience to the firm. He previously worked at a regional defense firm handling employment litigation, giving him direct insight into how employers and their counsel approach these cases, and before that served as managing partner at an employment-focused firm for six years, where he negotiated millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of plaintiff clients.
He was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in employment litigation in Pennsylvania from 2019 through 2022, an honor given to roughly 2.5% of lawyers in the state. He works closely with clients from initial consultation through resolution, building the factual record needed to hold employers accountable for violations of state and federal employment law.
From 2019 through 2022, Mr. Wilson was designated by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the area of employment litigation for Pennsylvania, an award only given to 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.
Mr. Wilson’s practice focuses on employment litigation on behalf of Plaintiffs. Mr. Wilson represents clients in a variety of claims including federal and state discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and retaliation claims in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Wilson also handles Whistleblower claims, Fair Labor Standard Act claims, and Conscientious Employment Protection Act claims.
Mr. Wilson joined Freundlich Littman with seven years of employment law experience. Most recently, Mr. Wilson worked for a regional defense firm litigating employment cases. Working in defense provided Mr. Wilson with a unique perspective of the employer’s evaluation and defense of these cases. This proves advantageous to Mr. Wilson when handling cases on behalf of Plaintiffs.
Prior to the defense firm, Mr. Wilson worked as the Managing Partner at an Employment focused law firm. For six years, Mr. Wilson focused exclusively on Plaintiff’s employment claims. Mr. Wilson negotiated millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Wilson is dedicated to litigating Plaintiffs’ employment claims because he firmly believes that all individuals should be able to go to work and make an honest living in an environment free from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and any other unlawful conduct in the workplace.
In his spare time, Mr. Wilson enjoys golfing, billiards, and bowling. Mr. Wilson also enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young nephews.
