Virginia King, Esquire has nearly 20 years of experience practicing as an insurance defense attorney, representing insurers and corporate defendants in complex litigation. As a result, she has extensive insight into how defense teams evaluate claims, assess risk, and approach settlement and trial strategy.
After spending years on the defense side, Virginia transitioned to plaintiff-side work. She is the founder of Viking Law , where she now represents individuals in serious injury and civil matters.
Throughout her career, Virginia has helped secure millions of dollars in recoveries for clients who suffered significant injuries. At the same time, her approach has remained focused on guiding clients through the legal process so they do not have to navigate it alone.
In practice, she treats the role of “counselor” seriously by staying accessible to clients, returning calls, emails, and texts, and clearly explaining each step of the case. Because this level of attention requires time and focus, she does not rely on high-volume advertising or mass case intake. Instead, each matter is handled individually, with care given to the specific circumstances involved.
Virginia’s work has been recognized by her peers through multiple Super Lawyers distinctions, including selection as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star and later to Super Lawyers , honors awarded to approximately 2.5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth.
Beyond her legal practice, Virginia is an active member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Having lost her older sister, Tess King, to leukemia in 2001, she regularly donates, sponsors teams, and participates in events such as Light the Night and the Big Climb at Lincoln Financial Field.
Outside of work, Virginia enjoys relaxing with streaming shows and spending time on creative projects using her Cricut machine. Over time, she also learned to sew, a skill she picked up during the pandemic while making masks, which later turned into creating handmade dolls that her young sons enjoy.
