Freudlich & Littman, Attorneys at Law Announce Social Fundraising Initiative to Benefit Share Food Program and Fight Hunger in Our Region
Philadelphia, PA (November 20, 2020) – Philadelphia based law firm Freundlich & Littman is proud to announce the start of their donation drive for Share Food Program, the largest hunger relief organization in the Philadelphia region, and one of the largest independent food banks in the nation. Before the Covid-19 crisis began, Share distributed food to 700,000 neighbors in need each month, 36% of whom were children, and 12% of whom were seniors. The need has risen sharply since early 2020–Share now serves more than 1 million each month.
The charitable-minded law firm is partnering with @swagfoodphilly on Instagram for this campaign. Freundlich & Littman will be donating $1 for every like @swagfoodphilly’s post from November 19 receives and $1 for every new follower on the law firm’s Instagram page @brotherlylaw through the end of November, up to $2,500 each.
Freundlich & Littman is encouraging all to spread the word to maximize their donation!
Founding partner of Freundlich & Littman, Greg Littman said: “We are proud to recognize and support organizations in our community that are doing important work on issues affecting the most vulnerable members of our community. Share Food Program’s work is essential to the fight against hunger in our region. We believe that no one should go hungry and are proud to support Share Food Program’s operations.”
“Before Covid-19, approximately 18% of Philadelphians were struggling with food insecurity–we see that percentage surging right now,” said George Matysik, Executive Director of Share Food Program. “We are very grateful for this generous initiative and appreciate the support of Freundlich & Littman.”
